Established in 1984, SMI has grown to become one of the leading machine shops in the St. Louis area. Our growth has been attributed to values that are rare in the fast moving manufacturing industry: quality, courtesy, attention to customer needs, and timely delivery.

Our Mission
At SMI, our mission is to provide machining services of the highest standard. We follow an ISO quality system and are dedicated to providing excellent customer service, and the timely delivery of quality products. SMI is located in O'Fallon Missouri, approximately 20 miles from St.Louis, Missouri and Lambert International Airport (right off I-40). We have a 30,000 square foot, climate-controlled manufacturing area, drive-in doors, and an overhead crane. Built in 1998, our building was designed to achieve maximum efficiency in modern production and work flow. This efficiency helps us keep our promise to you: to provide excellence not only in service, but in price as well.
